£1:00 bank charge

dear people,
I find it hard 2 except that it is such a complex issue 2 justify what banks and building society
should charge customer.
when considering, that I/we have paid just £10.00 to request all the statements of my/your account.
since I/we have opened an account with a bank or building society.
sure this is more "hard work" and expensive than administering a excess bank charges.
I though it would not take OFT a great deal to suss it out.
£1:00 charge is more exceptable...
do any one of u agree with me.
