EXPIRED Boots - 75% off Sanctuary & Gok Wan Gift Sets

I placed an order of both the sanctuary set and the Gok set and a changing bag too be delivered. I ordered at 4.50am the first day and got acknowledgement and confirmation emails. Parcel due tomorrow. Tonight I have received an email. All 3 items cancelled. I didn't think boots had this problem and as u can understand I am not impressed. Has this happened to anyone else? I will be ringing customer services tomorrow.

They reduced the FCUK bag set last year before the 75% sale. I got a few of them in the week of the 6th last year, so it has obviously been done before

Ok so have just rang customer services.

Basically the system takes 24 hours to update and therefore anything you order is not guaranteed. Even if they have it in stock if when they go to the warehouse it's not there then it gets cancelled. So somebody that has ordered after you may get the item if they have restocked. Not impressed. I reordered the changing bag as they had it in another colour for the same price and she told me there were 3 in stock. However She told me that just because there are 3 in stock I may not get it. Not very impressed.
A very unimpressed and unhappy boots customer. If I could shop instore I would but not very practical at the moment with a new born and a 3 year old.

Real time stock levels or the lack of them in this day & age drives me insane.

It happens all the time,I've ordered things I've seen on here or on HUKD and had mine cancelled etc and people who have ordered after me get theirs,I don't know what sort of system these companies have,but they seem to despatch orders the wrong way round,if you order later your order gets sent out first in many cases.

Yet Boots state that once you place an order YOU cannot cancel it under any circumstances! Seems pretty unfair

Below is part of the email acknowledgement that comes from Boots , surely it should say YOU and not WE, just being picky but it reads to me that once I have this acknowledgement then I should get my goods.

Until you have a despatch notice unfortunately they can cancel items at their will

I remember last year I was queing outside boots, got in and none of stock was labelled up. even staff hadnt been told (one was gutted as would have got a friend to come and buy some stuff for her)
I felt bad for the sales assistant as shes worked there for years:(
I just got what i would actually use (kicked myself after as one woman had a bloomin trolley with back up folk to help her with it), i wished after i had got a make up vanity case for mom but hadnt got two as would look greedy .:( this year though im bagging somat for mum:p

I have to say though the boots no 7 make up vanity case was is fab, im still using it now so definately value for money as the products are great and i have fun experimenting:o

My local boots has loads of the £50 Champneys sets, FCUK black bag & £65 No7 Box. Are these all on 50% off still or 75%.
Only nipped in quickly for the Sanctuary sets but were out of stock.

Will nip back at lunch if anyone can confirm the offer?

Many many thanks for this I got 4 Gok bags delivered yesterday, invoice says a saving of 136 pounds.

I got these for Birthday presents and my normal budget per present would be 10.00. So thanks to this post my rellies will have a truly great present for just a little bit more.
