Can anyone recommend a service like paypal that a charity can use to receive online donations free of charge that i don't have to give bank account details to the donor and preferably that the donor does not need to register to and open an account with the service in order to make a donation?

    MyDonate.
It is free of charge but they do pass on any credit card fees they get charged.
If you are registered for Gift Aid, they will also collect that for you free of charge.

I'm not sure there would be. You must realise that the systems required for making financial transactions safely cost money to set up and maintain. [STRIKE]You have the added difficulty of not being a charity, so some of the main players won't accept your group.[/STRIKE]Apologies, I had picked up from the first post that this was NOT a charity.

See if you can find the service you require from Martin's article.
