"microsoft visual c + runtime library" ???

when goining on to IE 8 ..... (coincidental with using laptop in wifi cafes abroad ?? )

now get a warning box with that heading ... , a red "X" , "runtime error" and " program c\program files (x86)\ internet explorer \iexplore.exe
this application has requested the runtime to terminate it an unusual way. plase contact support team ...

and an "OK" button .. which when clicked just brings the warning back up again .

Cause .. and cure ??

Reset IE.
