Can anyone please suggest any nice areas to buy houses in the Fife and Falkrik Areas???

We do have a limited budget of £100,000 so if anyone can suggest any decent areas it would be so much appreciated.

Cupar, Ceres, Craigrothie, Dunbog, Stratheden, Dairsie, Balmullo.

These are all nice places in NE Fife.

It really depends what you consider a nice area. What facilities are you looking for? What do you want to avoid? Why Fife and Falkirk (they aren't next to each other)?

Falkirk area: Larbert (especially if you want easy road/rail links to Glasgow Edinburgh).

You can readily see what's available for your budget www.rightmove.co.uk (should give you an idea)

    Good luck

Cannot disagree with the NE Fife suggestions.

Would be useful to know what you are looking for though ie. number of bedrooms, priority facilities etc.

    Best of luck.

We are ideally looking for a 2 bed house, with garden, in a half decent area. We know with a budget off only £100,000 we wont get much but there are areas so just looking for some feedback

Polmont, next to Falkirk and also has a train station of it's own, is a nice little place. Might have something in your budget, just along the road from Linlithgow which is lovely, but probably not within budget.

Cant see your budget getting much in Larbert or Polmont im afraid. You would have to consider outskirts of Falkirk maybe Denny, Dunipace,Bonnybridge.
Nearer Falkirk would be Camelon or Bainsford.

There were some ex-servicemen's houses for sale in Cupar recently, 2 and 3 bedroom selling for around £70K. I dont know if any are left, they are in Tarvit drive, a quiet area not far from rail station and town centre.
