Moving house mid month effect on monthly mortgage payment

About to complete sale and purchase on 11th.

Mortgage payment would normally be due on 16th.

Will we get a month off of mortgage payments this month?

We are staying with same lender (barclays).

Could ask them of course but 1. They are closed and I'm doing my sums now first peace and quiet I've had in a while or likely to get fir a while, and 2. When I do call I'm on hold for half an hour.

For the above reasons any advice very much appreciated.

Hey, I would guess that that the dates are too close and there wouldn't be enough time between drawdown if new mortgage to date first payment is due so your first payment would be the following month and in effect double. Might be wrong thou and if I an you'll just pay the extra for the 5 days, does their website give you any detail on this? Expect you've looked but I know the frustration of wanting to get the info now and not have to be on hold for 30 mins of your life you won't get back!
