You trying to get some money back?

Most companies do expenses at 40p a mile. It's not really possible to say how much petrol you'll have used to do 20 miles in any car because you could have taken two hours to do it through london traffic on the south circular or you could have done it in 20 minutes on the motorway...

We do have a Nissan Note (the 1.6 so you'll need to find out what engine it is too) and it seems to be high 30's/40mpg
What if there was no such thing as a rhetorical question?

so, shall i assume then that a nissan note costs 40p per mile?

Fill your tank up, drive 20 miles, fill your tank back up, see how much you have used and cost you.
make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.

    Rough estimate assuming 40mpg, 20 miles=1/2 gallon=2.25 litres x £1.30 per litre = approx £3.

depends what you need to know for really. If it is a mate who has helped you out, buy them a beer or slip em a fiver.

If you've had to use your car for work 40p a mile is about standard, you shouldn't get taxed on it either.

The other suggestions are also good if you need to know exactly.

You could also look up the exact engine and see what the claimed mpg is but this is likely to be rather optimistic!

I believe the current tax-free rate is 45p a mile if you use your own vehicle for business and are allowed to claim the money back.

Depends what the Nissan Note does to the gallon.

The average for my car is 42 according to the reviews. But i have had as little as 26MPG and as high as 67MPG.

So which one is right. Answer all of them.

Only way to tell put £20 in and drive until it runs out.
