Bear this in mind...most branded laptops are produced from generic chassis all made in the same far eastern factory and simply customised/badged up for the end brand i.e Tosh/Acer etc etc. They dont all have their own factories.

I have had a tosh lappy for nearly four years and its still working fine. It cost about £350 when i bought it and wasnt high end then.

It needs some minor repairs now which i will do myself as ive bought the bits.

As a standby i bought a Dell optiplex GX620 desktop base from ebay for £26 and it works just great and again, does all i need.

The moral of the tale...dont believe the hype. For ordinary everyday computing you dont need to spend a fortune.
Feudal Britain needs land reform. 70% of the land is "owned" by 1 % of the population and at least 50% is unregistered (inherited by landed gentry). Thats why your slave box costs so much..

Lenovo Laptops are top grade devices that you can get for less than £300, like any Lenovo G580 from Save On Laptops or similar Z580s from Laptops Direct
