Just seen one seller selling multiple auctions of unwrapped unwanted xmas presents for multiple people (MUM to go to australia, Son to buy an xmas game, etc etc).
Funny thing is some 20 unwanted xmas presents for her 'son' are all wrapped in same wrapping paper.
I mean seriously???
Who is stupid enough to pay their cash for this junk? CLearly it will be all junk or car boot sale items worth far less than end auction amount
I don't knock the seller for this scam as if it makes them money hey ho but come on are people really that dumb??? A child will get all his presents in same wrapping paper??
Heres auctions if anyone interested:

Not sure why anyone would buy as these crop up every year, it's a bit like the Nigerian scams: over-done!0 -
I really want to believe that these are scam bids! I don't understand though, surely it isn't worth the negative feedback??0

At one point there where over 120 unopened items
:-O
was this a scam ??????
you decide !0 -
But why could anybody leave negative feedback?superfran_uk wrote: »I really want to believe that these are scam bids! I don't understand though, surely it isn't worth the negative feedback??
They'll get their 7 items (probably all from the 99p shop!) nicely wrapped, so the item is as described, and I'm sure that they'll be sent out on time.
Any non-factual feedback will be removed by eBay if the seller requests.Philip0 -
Seems like a great idea... Can't be much different from the suitcase auctions that airlines sometimes have... or a scratch card really come to think of it.0

Except that the suitcases aren't likely to be full of complete tat whereas these are guaranteed to be worth less than the postage cost! Although I suppose a fool and their money are easily parted and the only person that would bid on a pile of cr4p is most certainly an A grade fool!0 -
I don't see anything wrong with the it all being in the same wrapping paper but it probably is a easy scam as I guarantee the items are worthless.Wins so far this year: Mum to be bath set, follow me Domino Dog, Vital baby feeding set, Spiderman goody bag, free pack of Kiplings cakes, £15 love to shop voucher, HTC Desire, Olive oil cooking spray, Original Source Strawberry Shower Gel, Garnier skin care hamper, Marc Jacobs fragrance.0
-
One set of 8 has apparently sold for almost £64 ... £8 per item!
I would have thought all the fools and their money were parted well before Christmas, so how many would still have money to bid and burn on this nonsense?
I also note the anonymity of bidding on these 'private auctions'. If there are such genuinely naive bidders around, I expect we will see lots of negative feedbacks appear in the next few days..."The secret of life is honesty and fair dealing.
...If you can fake that, you've got it made."
