Cancelled debit card

Hi

I had my HSBC debit card cancelled as I lost it in a restaurant. I have since requested credits to go on to my account (from a betting website) using the cancelled cards details. Will the credits still go into my bank even though that card has been cancelled?

Thanks

Dave

As above credits do not require authorisation.

In fact. It would not be surprising that when you input your new card details. They do not automatically transfer and credit back to the old card.
