The only film I can find with 500 miles in is Benny and Joon and that was Johnny Depp

Well i've spent time looking through Mike Myers filmography and the associated soundtracks and could find nothing, i'm thinking they've made a mistake in the question

The text in the competition is saying its 500 miles in Benny And Joon too

Complementing their raw, stripped down delivery with the greater musical scope of a full band, they then embraced country and rock on their second album, 1988's Sunshine On Leith. In addition to the mournful, yearning title track, the album featured the raucous, euphoric I'm Gonna Be and I'm On My Way. The latter track subsequently accompanied one of the pivotal scenes in the hit movie Shrek while I'm Gonna Be soared to No. 3 in the US chart after appearing on the soundtrack of the Johny Depp film Benny And Joon.

I've received a reply to my email which says that Shrek is DEFINATELY the wrong answer - which we knew... but we are looking for an earlier Mike Myers film

For those of you who appreciate all things "So I Married An Axe Murderer," I just wanted to offer a factoid involving The Proclaimers' "I'm Gonna Be (500 Miles)."

If you're like me, you've wondered for more than a decade what the heck those bespectacled guys were talking about when they sang:

"And if I haver, yeah, I know I'm gonna be
I'm gonna be the man who's havering to you"

To haver is to "talk foolishly; to chatter."
