I am going to Rome at the end of May, with a very very new BF, it our first break together, has anyone got any ideas for off the beaten track stuff to do?

Get the train out to Ostia antiqua., it's an old roman town on the way to the coast. You can get a 4 euro travel pass which you can use on the bus, train and underground...so you can get there cheaply and easily.0
