I've been a few times and it has always been a day trip costing between £100 to £120. I have been to Egypt many times and love it, and if you want some honest advice I would recommend that you perhaps go to the Valley of the Kings or Abu Simbel instead which are both much better than the pyramids, which are a little disappointing. I wouldn't go again if I knew then what I know now, there really isn't much to see and once you've seen the other attractions which I am sure you will see on your cruise I expect you may find them disappointing too. Abu Simbel is an internal flight away and as such a bit more expensive but it is amazing.
Perhaps Valley of the Kings is a stop on your Cruise tho, so enjoy if it is :-) You will have a fab time, its really the best way to see Egypt.
Definitely go to the Market in Sharm, and have some of the local food there, the fresh Mango is delicious!
If you need any more info let me know :-)
Have a great trip!0 -

I called at Port Said on a cruise, and we went to the pyramids on a ships excursion, I remember it was around the £100 mark.
We went in a convoy of about 20 coaches from the ship - each coach had an armed Egyptian guard on board.
I felt perfectly safe. However at the Pyramids you need to be savvy, it's very crowded, so keep an eye on your belongings. Also, if any Egyptians offer to take to take your photos with your camera, be careful, they'll want money in order to give your camera back!Early retired - 18th December 2014

Red Sea Magic on Celebration is great. We did the 'stay' week first as we knew the week on the ship would be the highlight.
We didn't do any organised excursions while on Celebration, but if you do and you don't go on the excursions organised by the ship, then you'll be 'under your own steam'. If the ship is due to sail that evening, and you've got stuck somewhere, then it's tough.
If you go on any long excursions by coach, then take a pair of ear-plugs as the guides rattle-on relentlessly!0
