Think I could have made matters worse

My barclaycard ppi went in for reworking (I was offered an amount last year but never received the letter) as I need a years interest adding on. Was told it would take aprox 10 days as everything had been done and just to add an extra years interest wouldn't be a problem. Barclaycard are now ringing me for payment, contacted Customer Services twice who both times said they would contact the repayment department and chase it up.

It is now going on for 5 weeks so I contacted the CEo who replied by saying he has forwarded my email on to the ppi dept. Great I thought, however, when I rang customer services to find out what is happenning they will not talk to me as it is now a "directors complaint" and they will be dealing with it, but they couldnt give out a telephone number so that I can ring direct. So still in limbo, no idea when Im going to be paid out, and nobody to contact. I really should have left well alone.:mad:

Ask your local MP to write on your behalf and raise all issues of your concerns to them as well.
Hopefully it will help your case.
