Voluntary redundancy and CB JSA

My friend's company is making a number of employees redundant. They will have to go through an assessment centre to determine which employees will stay and which will go. They have also offered voluntary redundancy to any staff member that is interested. If she takes voluntary redundancy, will she still be able to claim contribution based JSA?
