Hi all
I'm victim to the usual phishing emails, banks, fed ex etc; normally I just used to delete these but recently I've been forwarding them to the relevant companies dept.
Anyway question is really is there any point in reporting these emails? Do the relevant companies actually look into the emails and try and stop them or am I just wasting time and would be as well just deleting them again?
Thanks

I am feeling really left out. I have never had a phishing email or a phone call asking for my pin number.I can afford anything that I want.
Just so long as I don't want much.0 -

I usually go on what the email was. If its banking or paypal (something I use or have access to for example) I usually forward them but I don't bother with the parcel/post or other random ones.Back on the trains again!0

I never get these either though I do get my emails via gmail and Google are very good at removing the trash from my inbox.Do you want your money back, and a bit more, search for 'money claim online' - They don't like it up 'em Captain Mainwaring0

They are sent out by the 1000's of millions! If everyone forwards them, it just clogs up the networks even more.
Your spam filter should take care of 99% of them, just delete the few that get through. No free lunch, and no free laptop0 -
Thanks for replies - the general message seems to be just delete them.
