DFS double discounts

Hi guys,
I've just ordered a sofa from DFS. It was in their 'double discount' range, yes they always seem to be in sale. Happy with what I got for 899 from "1799"
While there I seen a second sofa which I'm also interested in, but it only had 100£ off it, 1899 down to 1799...
Basically question is does anyone know if everything goes 50% off or double savings at some stage or another? Wud hate to pay 1799 then it go down further in the 'next sale'
Thanks

Advertised RRP - no one pays(they always have a sale on)
Sale price - full money(what mugs pay, getting it on finance)
Sale Sale price - what they expect to close some deals at.
Sale Sale price with discount - what the price ends up at after hard sell
Possible further discount if it seems like your walking away and they either need the sale or well on target and can let one slip through.
I'm sure the actual DFS sales method is more complex but basically the store relies on sales, managers have targets and sales staff have commissions to earn.
There must be a optimum time to go in and buy, whether thats on a quiet midweek afternoon, or the end of a barmy hot sunny weekend when everyone is at the beach, i'm not exactly sure.
Best thing is to ask for the nuts price in store, walk away and see if you can source a simular product elsewhere cheaper.0
