    Okay, I'm confused - you've done a factory reset? What do you mean by a factory reset, what did you do? Assuming you mean a reinstallation of Windows, did the monitor work allowing you to perform the reinstallation?

    Something else you could try is buying a graphic card from eBay. I would think your motherboard has PCI Express (sometimes called PCI-E or PCIe) slots, so don't go buying an AGP graphic card!

    According to this page, your computer has onboard/integrated graphics. So I'm uncertain you actually removed a graphic card.

    On a better note, the same page indicates you have two PCI Express slots.

    There is another VGA connection on the back of my pc, I've plugged into that and I'm getting a picture. It's not great, the picture is big and blocky but its allowed me to see what I was doing to do a factory reset.

    if it doesn't look right, you probably need to download drivers for it, or adjust the screen resolution

    I cant seem to get any pics onto photobucket but ive managed to get some up on another thread i have going http://www.avforums.com/forums/desktops/1723450-monitor-not-turning.html
    Just shows the graphic card and the other vga im on about.
