Using quidco with firefox and adblocker

hi
hope its the right thread
i have had a problem with quidco recently and today had a thought that maybe since i installed adblocker on firefox the problems started.
on quidco i shop as usual and all the boxes appear but nothing tracks.
maye its a coincidence but thought i would check here. i use avast free version as antivirus.
any ideas???

    I use an ad blocker and AV and have never had a tracking failure.

    Make sure you clear cookies before using the links from the cashback sites. I find the easiest way to do this is to use a different browser for cashback purchases than I can clear all cookies in it without causing me the inconvenience of having to log back to sites in use etc. in my normal browser.

    i used adblocker, noscrip and a few others on firefox. One or more of these blocks the cashback cookie.

    rather than disabling every thing. i use another browser IE for cashbacks and banking

  • There are alternative adblocking / no tracking add-ons that should allow you to permit certain services tracking you (which is necessary for things like Quidco to work properly). It has been a while since I have used Adblock but try and look in the settings and see if there is something there to let you use Quidco.
