Debit Transaction Pending For 5 Days

Hi,
My debit transaction has been pending for almost 5 days now. How long will I have to wait until it's cleared?

    It would help if you could tell us what the transaction is for.
    Some companies earmark funds on receipt of an order but don't actually debit your account until dispatch.

    Just be careful, sometimes the earmarked funds will be released back into your available balance but the transaction can still be applied at a later point.
    I have numerous qualifications in Business and Finance, Accountancy, Health and Safety and am now studying Law.

    Don't rely on anything I write as it may be wrong!!!

    Amazon only auth payment once ready for dispatch.

    Given you posted yesterday. The weekend and bank holiday will have delayed the full debit.
    Odds on it debited overnight, or will tommorow.

    Although I do not see what the issue is, as auth or debit will not effect your balance on funds you have avaiable.
