Incoming emails converted to traditional fax

Hi

I have a friend who runs a B&B and is getting more and more bookings by email. She has no interest in computing/internet and wished these emails could just be read out her fax machine.

Is there a service about that actually converts and forwards emails to her traditional fax machine? Technically this would involve the email being converted somewhere and being sent down the telephone line to her fax number.

I can see all these email to fax and fax to email services but they aren't actually solutions to the above problem. They start or end with looking at your message on the PC.

http://fax.co.uk/products/rx.htm appears to offer the service you are looking for. It takes quite a bit of hunting through the masses of email to fax services as I suppose they expect more people to be looking for that kind of service on the internet.
  • i'd advise your friend to become interested in the internet otherwise she'll lose business.

thanks ebany that is spot on ... I been looking high and low for ages.

Skint, I pretty much do all her work the odd evenings I'm free, SEO, mass listing on every directory site I can find, paying for premium ads, adwords, google maps, tracking using google analytics. She relies on some hotel sites that manage the booking from beginning to end and take a cut - but only confirm the booking to her by email. She's not interested in doing it (in her early 70s) and left it to me when I'm not working. The fax service should cut out the little bit she relies on her daughter to do on a day to day basis.
