The weakest point of your complaint is that you didn't notice monthly ppi payments for 12 years and thus complain sooner.

we just signed not aware of ppi as if we did we would have declined it as we didnt need it my partner who took out the card worked for an still does the local council an had job security an everything

So, why did you pay the PPI premiums for 150 months without querying it? Most people see an entry on their statement they didnt approve will raise it.
they say its 50/50 anyone have any advice or know what our chances might be ?

I would say less than 50/50 as your complaint is very weak. It requires an unidentified failure (i.e. something you havent mentioned that gets spotted by the FOS). Your allegation itself is unprovable. If you were raising it within months of the first payment then you are credible. The further time goes on, the less credible that looks and the more opportunistic it looks.

My partner thought it was a credit card charge that was normal was only young at time an prior to the credit car she had a loan which at the time was advised she didn't need ppi as she had 12months sick pay and no chance of redundancy so therefor midsold ppi wasn't aware of it when takin out credit card as she was when taking loan which was a different lender ( black horse ) had she been made aware of ppi an the fact of not needing it she wouldn't have taken it hope this make sense many thanks

That may well be true but it is all very weak and asking for more of a goodwill offer unless there is something in the paperwork that indicates a wrong doing.

It could get lucky (and we dont have the benefit of seeing the admin) but I would put odds at being quite low. This is the sort of complaint that requires luck on an auto payout or be small value and not investigated.

You take out a loan 1999 from blackhorse and are made aware of ppi and that with having 12months sick pay and no risk whatsoever of redundancy that you wont need it saving x amount a month then a year later take out a credit card not intensionally but offerd in branch to take one the kind lady behind the counter fills the forms out not explaing ppi and when the bills roll in been young we think no more of the charge other than its just for using credit card all the years later never questioned it untill they write to us to say are you have with your ppi we at this point realise we have it and if in branch had been made aware of it just like the loan we would have declined it as not needed saving x amount a month doesnt make sense it isnt like we are to know in 2000 that we are likely to be claiming this back we feel it is misold not explained to us anywho its in the hands of the fos an chance is what it is thaks guys

its a bit hard to read a 100 word sentence! but if it were sold by from behind the counter it would be a non advised sale and sick pay irrelevant, so no similar a to black horse sale which was probably advised.
