Sorry if this is stating the obvious, but you don't have to eat puddings, biscuits, and cake. Could you cut them out altogether and maybe only have them very occasionally as a treat. Is that allowed on your healthy eating plan?

How about meringue with fruit/fruit puree - a kind of 'Eton Mess' without the cream? It might work with soya yoghurt too if you found the right one.

The Happy Herbivore website is your friend. It's vegan, so no dairy or eggs, plus low fat. She has a couple of books out as well.

Fat free and diary free tea loaf

    1 cup dried fruit
    1 cup tea
    1 cup sugar- although I use 1/2 a cup
    2 cups SR flour

Make tea and soak fruit, when cool add other stuff and mix well. Put in a loaf tin. Bake gas 4 for approx 40 mins.

    Easy and cheap

I know I don't have to have them, but I want them.

Also plan to move rest of the family on to them, sure to be better than commercial bought stuff, and only want to make 1 cake, not 1 for them and 1 for me

If 'good' fat is allowed, there are a number of recipes out there for Vegan Chocolate Mousse using avocado - although not low fat it's the best sort to have!

I can also recommend this recipe http://www.dailymail.co.uk/femail/article-1297031/Courgette-glut-Use-recipe-chocolate-brownies-yes-really.html. Dairy and egg free, it's surprisingly tasty and has a nice texture. It is high in sugar, but as an occasional treat it's pretty good.

I make my recipes dairy free simply using the diary free marg substitution (sometimes I also use Trex), I also often use water when it calls for milk. You'll struggle to find any biscuit or cake recipes with no marg or egg yolk - surely rather than cutting it out completely you'd be better to find recipes using small amounts and just have a small portion?
