    There really are some awful agents around...another mental note made about just how bad some agents can be:eek:. You really would think they would protect the vendors interests a bit better than that - considering how much they charge:eek:

    Yeah I thought the same, ironically in sharing this info they put might right off going with them to sell ours which could have been an option as they are one of the big names and quite prominent in our area....

    The price a property is up for is often as a result of the vendor's 'finger in the air' rather than an EA. They might say £200k, the vendor might say 'let's try £250k, I can always drop...'. As I've said before, an asking price is not necessarily a valuation!

    Paying their full commission does not guarantee a 'more honest' estate agent!
