How come 16GB extra storage costs £40 on the Nexus 7, yet £70 on the Nexus 10? It's the same memory modules in both, yes?

Comparing 16GB and 32GB respective models on the Play store.

Nexus 7 16GB = £159; 32GB = £199
Nexus 10 16GB = £319; 32GB = £389

The Nexus 7 prices are entirely artificial - Google are subsidising them to some extent to build market.

Not necessarily; they're assembled by different manufacturers.

I suspect kwikb is not far off the mark ... the Nexus 7 is very good VFM.
