Ryanair/Swissport spoiling passengers' days with late gate changes at Stansted GRRR!!

Ricardo, it is a route they've run for at least 12 years I think and it is just one of those places where they have no competition direct or indirect that even comes close.
If they closed the route I'd spend at least 2 hours more each way travelling and I might travel less often. It would be moderately life-changingJust one of those happy coincidences these past years that when I needed any easy direct route it was there and there it has been ever since.
There's always an alternative of course - one of which would be to fly myself - hugely more enjoyable than any convenience Ryanair or EZ or BA or any airline could offer, even if it took all day and I had to wait until the sun shone, but sadly, way outside my usual budget!
Sorry you were bored, miduck. You see on the odd occasion I stop by thesedays, I try to comment here for the little man who doesn't know it all yet
BTW, at Stansted, many Ryanair passengers do "guess" that they will be departing from the 40-57 neck of the woods because that's the bit Ryanair monopolises. It works 7 times out of 10 but then again sometimes even the regulars have to be on their toes. I "guess" what I meant by don't "guess" was don't drop your guard. Fair enuff callum9999?
And should you also misunderstand the part of my warning about reaching the front of the queue and even perhaps the front of the aircraft before you realise you've been wrongfooted. What I meant was don't rely on Swissport to check your ticket at the gate and pick up the fact you have just had your boarding card ripped for the wrong flight, okay?0 -

Can Ryanair really be as bad as you make them out then if you're happy to use them to save 2 hours of travelling?
And as to the guessing bit, I simply made that comment because I thought it was blindingly obvious! Even if 70% of the time the guess was right, I don't think anyone in their right mind would just rely on that guess instead of checking the screens dotted all around the airport for the actual information!0 -

Most Passengers don't know that there are no Ryanair flight announcements whatsoever in the Stansted main terminal and in the case in point they don't know that attempts to redirect them comfortably and safely to a changed gate might inevitably be so uncoordinated as to be downright p|ss poor as usual, could very easily lead to them being left behind if they miss just a single announcement in just one of a random selection from any one of about twenty different European English accents, and that receipt of such information will very likely cause them to over-exert and stress themselves as soon as they do actually get the message.
Do you agree with most of that or do you still think I may be wide of the mark?0 -

Most of their passengers do not know which way they'll be made to jump next or why or what's likely. Because I use them so frequently I see a great deal and I notice how things change or how things don't change - the good the bad and the sometimes downright ugly - I see it all! I don't make Ryanair out to be just bad - I supply details that help less able passengers make better judgements on what to expect. Simple as.
Most passengers don't appreciate what they are being fed at the airport by way of "information". They don't know that there are good screens and bad screens barely worth the electricity to power them as I alluded before. They don't know that gate numbers are snapshots to be continually questioned like MOTs on cars as evidence of roadworthiness after the vehicle leaves the tester!
