Hello,
I was thinking today about the fact that whenever I need to take down a number, address or other note, I usually just put it in a notepad file and then save it - so I have lots of useless txt files lying around. I was thinking it would be nice to have some kind of notes manager, a window on the desktop that would have a few colums, time, date, and another one showing the first few words of the note, you would click on that to see the entire note, and it would auto-save to disk. This would save a lot of hassle, have everything in one place yet be able to find things easily. If it can sync with a website or other computer all the better. I couldn't actually find anything that exactly fit this bill, and I'm too busy at the moment to try to program it myself, so was wondering if anyone either uses such a program or knows of one that works and has all these features?
Thanks.

Know me for who I am, not for who I say I am.

This one was mentioned in a recent Computeractive (19th April-2nd May) feature on free downloads (p.24). I havent tried it but it may be worth looking into. HTH0
