Best Epson Printer under £50

I need a new printer and have read reviews which suggest Epson might be the best allrounder.

Which Epson printer under £50 or thereabouts would you class as the best one?

I don't do a lot of colour printing, don't print photos, mostly black and white but not numerous quantities. Cost of ink would be a factor as well in my choice.

I also use an old XP desktop which is wireless at the moment. How can I connect a wireless printer to it or do I have to somehow make the desktop wireless. How do I do this?

Given your type of printing, wouldn't a budget mono laser (I'd suggest a Samsung) be a better choice? And much cheaper to run, if you can do without colour.
