Look at the the CTC endorsed and very comprehensive bicycle insurance from Butterworth Spengler:

Worth checking how it compares in terms of cover / price to adding bikes to the household insurance.
I have also seen Sheffield stands (at a train station) which have been unbolted from the ground, presumably to steal a bike. Much better to use a stand sunk into concrete foundations.0 -
https://www.eta.co.uk (the Environmental Transport Association) do cycle insurance which also includes roadside recovery.We need the earth for food, water, and shelter.
