Problem with petrolprices.com - not showing any petrol stations!

After looking on this site for ways to cut fuel costs I thought I'd give petrolprices.com a try to find the cheapest fuel in my area. But I typed in my postcode and it said that there were no petrol stations within 10 miles of my address.

I live in the middle of a smallish city and there are at least 4 petrol stations within walking distance of my house and probably about 10 within 10 miles. They are not just small independent ones but include the big chains like Tesco, Sainsburys, Esso, etc.

Has anyone else had this problem? Or can anyone recommend another site where I could compare petrol prices?

That's a bit odd, I've used them often and not had a problem . Have you registered and logged in? They won't give you proper details of prices otherwise. Also if you do get in, check when the prices were last updated- they can be a day or two behind.

Yes, I've definitely registered. I've just had a play around on it and it shows no petrol stations when I ask for unleaded but 3 when I ask for diesel, which is strange as the 3 petrol stations it came up with for diesel all sell unleaded as well.

I also tried putting a few other city names and postcodes in and it came up with very few petrol stations: for example, apparently there are only 8 petrol stations within 5 miles of Birmingham! :undecided

Or run out of searches? 20 searches a day or something?

No, I definitely picked unleaded, and I still had some searches left. It's strange - I wonder if they don't include all companies, but was surprised that Tesco wasn't included, or Sainsburys unleaded (but Sainsburys diesel was), as these are two of the cheapest.

I've just put Harborne in and it's given me northfield Sainsbury's unleaded. Really no idea why it's not working for you.
Edit = I've just put my own postcode in and it's coming up with morrisons but not sainsbury or tesco which definitely used to be on there. Either the supermarkets aren't playing ball or the site is having a moment.
Anyone else finding that supermarket petrol stations are vanishing from petrolprices.com?

yup.. tesco and morrisons are missing here. the independent texaco one is on there though, but the co-op texaco is missing

A load have disappeared around here as well.

Now only 4 stations within 5 miles of each of the nearest 2 towns, not including any of the 3 that are usually cheapest 3 miles south of here. I don't think so

Not all stations are included, Only those that report their prices i think.
