What's the average labor only cost of a Bathroom refit. I am looking to get two bathrooms done which are 3 X 2.5 meters. Job includes tiling (right to the ceiling) and refit of bath, sink and toilet seat, fixing some spot lights. The location of the units are not going to be changed. The job is in London.

Where in London? In the 'burbs will be cheaper than in the centre. In outer London you'll be looking at around iro £ 2½ - 3k as a total for both done at the same time to include materals (ie everything bar suite, brassware and tiles). You need to get a proper quote from 3 proper people who have seen it though.

  • Thanks, the job is in north east london in zone 4. I have had quotes from 1200£ to 4800£ per bathroom + cost of fixtures and fittings like sink, shower cubicle and toilet seat.
  • Hi all
I have just had a quote to refit my bathroom £4200 for 10 days work, £420 a day......astronomical.............

Especially as I have already purchased all the sanitary good and the tiles.

Does anyone else think thats excessive?

Just because we are in Royal Berkshire doesnt mean we all live in castles

Why have you posted this twice? You won't get any better answers by doing so.

Quite. "I refer the honourable gentleman to the answer I gave a few moments ago". Two threads hijacked now as well.
