Adding photo to gravestone

I hope someone can help with this.
My dad died last year and while I was helping my mum choose a suitable stone for my dad we decided we would not like a photo of him to be added to it. However we visit the cemetery every week and have decided a photo would have been nice, just to see his face rather than just a name.
Would anyone have the slightest idea what I am looking for or how i would find such a thing. I have googled several suggestions without success.
Any help would be gratefully recieved.:A

I suspect this may be a bit OTT but it's a suggestion:

Go back to the stonemasons who have made the original gravestone and ask if they can add anything. It might be quite simple to add a frame in.Member of the first Mortgage Free in 3 challenge, no.19

If not you could get a picture lazered on to a heavy glass block and place it on the grave.

Make sure the cemetery allows it first. Some are funny about Teddy bears, or other things placed on graves, some have no policy at all.I Believe in saving money!!!:T

Thanks everyone. There are a lot of stones in the cemetery with the oval pics on and was hoping we could cement it on or suchlike. The stonemason is a good idea, he was such a helpful man and would not take a penny till stone was up and we were 100% satisfied.
Thanks again xI Can resist everything, except Temptation x:o0
