Miss Hoodie has been finishing her clay making, think there meant to be tea-light holders !! thou it could be answers on a postcard.

Mother has brouhght herself 2 tops for her party - did ask was the 2nd one for when she split her buffet down her!! (no comment!!)... but shes getting into it so can't really complain xx

    Xmas Saver!
Can't take credit for this fab offer but I've just order 9 in total, made a massive dent in my xmas / bday list

Sheer Sanctuary Indulgence - £40 down to £10; Gok Bag of Indulgence £45 down to £11.25.

    http://www.boots.com/en/Gok-Bag-Of-Indulgence_1267210/

    Don't forget Quidco ot topcashback

I brought both the sets when they were on offer of the week, there lovely, the Gok Wan set (if was full price), I'd say your paying for the vanity case, but at £11.25 its amazing value.

Santuary Spa - that is an amazing bargain, those know me, I'm built for comfort not speed, (ur more liable to find me in evans that topshop!!), but my vice is nice shower gel, and I normally pay £6 for a Spa showergel - the set at £10 its brilliant.

For some reason - there the only 3 items with a mega reduction, - Boots have got tight - if you order under £20 you have to pay £2.95 (?) delievery charge to store, spend over £45 and its free home delievery. I've just ordered now and it says get it by Wed pm.

    Couldn't resist a bargain xx

Rufus - happy new year hope you had a good Xmas

Hi moneyenny - wb , I packed my things away and the son said that's bad luck it's too early , with that 10 mins later we had a phone call the tenants are out , it's took over a year so just have to see the damage they done now ...

Babyc - welcome to the shiny new thread .

Anyone I missed sorry , trying to type this on my phone.

I am trying to join in more this year. And I'm determined to try crochet , sewing and knitting this year, tried knitting before but confused myself. I am still doing a little bit of cross stitch and crafting but my health has been hit and miss last year so hopefully this year will get more time for things.

More so if I keep off my computer ... Lol . Whole days seem to disappear, anyone else got that?

Morning, I'm in for this year having now had chance to get on the Net again after a busy week. I've already made up my spreadsheet, budgets to spend on people and have a rough idea of what I'd want to be buying for everyone (although that is a constant changer) This year I'll be making more things following the success of the stockings I made Christmas just gone so will be scouring things for ideas.

I did go into B**ts the other day looking at the 50% off stuff and picked up a Henry Holland Bathing Box Thing for £5 - that'll go into the pressie cupboard for next year, along with a "cupcake" of bath pearls and bath caviar that I picked up from Wilkos for 50p (another 50% off gift).

Nectar points are being collected along with all my other loyalty cards and we'll see how much of Christmas I can have :)

Thanks for starting the thread - looking forward to being totally organised!

    KB xx

  • I'm in, 2012 was o.k but I was so stressed, was the first year that I've been buying presents the week before Christmas due to lack of funds. We had to move house in June unexpectadly (our landlord cut our tenancy short) and we never really recovered for the expense of that. I'm on a mega saving frenzy now though as I don't want to bein that position ever again! Kx

Something else to say about Quidco. Remember you can download the app for your phone and get paid (usually between 5p and 25p) for 'checking in' to shops. You don't have to buy anything, in fact you don't have to go in - most of my check ins have taken place as I've walked past! The good thing also is that check ins do not count towards your £5 a year fee so all of your check ins will be yours. I got around £17 last year through check ins alone :D

This is brill thank you for mentioning it. Walked past Blockbusters on my High Street and checked in no problem 5p banked!! There's only a couple of shops on my high street that are available for this but if I go into town there are loads!
