Hi,

My wife and i are considering a DRO for her and we were wondering if the OR gets involved in the same way as he/she does in a bankruptcy case?

ie. Phone/face to face interviews etc

The reason for asking is that she is disabled and has a speech impediment so this kind of interview would be extremely stressful for her.

The Insolvency Service MAY conduct some kind of investigation, but this is unlikely, and the whole process is largely automated. The only conversations you will need to do are with Debt Advisors (who should happily speak to you on your wife's behalf should this be necessary)
