graphics card drivers

Have just installed a ASROCK ConRoe 865 PE m/b along with a nvida FX5200 128mb graphics card.When I installed the drivers I found WDM drivers ?
Not sure what they are for so went to load them and the computer advised against it.
So my question is what are they and do I need them everything seems to be working ok at the moment.
