Radiator Replacement - Cost in Time

Hi,
We are looking to get 4 single radiators replaced with doubles and TVR's, keeping the same sizes in all cases, 3 * 600mm by 1600mm and 1 * 600mm by 500mm.
The first quote has said he would need to drain the system then replace them and this would likely take 1.5 - 2 days to do this.
Does this sound right? My OH thought it could all be done in a day.
Thanks,
Jo

1/2-3/4 of a day but it's fair that you get charged for a full day, def not the time scale he is suggesting, get another couple of quotesI'm only here while I wait for Corrie to start.
You get no BS from me & if I think you are wrong I WILL tell you.0 -
Bear in mind the pipe work will need to be adjusted as it will currently sit too close to the wall. This might require floor boards to be removed, so it could easily take more than a day. But southcoastrgi is right - get some more quotes.Eat vegetables and fear no creditors, rather than eat duck and hide.0

phill could be right with the pipework alterations it depends if the rads were fitted correctly in the first place if they were no alterations will be necessary, however even if it does it's still not more than a days workI'm only here while I wait for Corrie to start.

Thanks. We have had 3 plumbers look at the work. 1 radiator needs pipe adjustment, the others don't and all said 1/2 - 3/4 days work.0
