DFS ppi

Hello people and Happy New Year!!!

I've been having a New Year sort out today and have shredded lots of old paper work. However, i was about to shred a credit agreement for a DFS sofa from 4 years ago and noticed the sales person hat ticked that we wanted PPI protection. I remember it being offered and us refusing as our jobs were stable and we had savings. But it looks like we paid anyway. the irony is that we were wrong and two years ago my hubby was made redundant and the PPI would have come in handy, but since we didnt know we had it we didn't make a claim on it.

Anyhows, its not much money but should we try and claim it back?

But you would have signed the agreement to say that you did want it.
Presumably you didnt read the documents before you signed.

He said/she said doesnt cut it Im afraid. That's just your word against his.
make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.

If your hubby was made redundant and did not make a claim on the insurance as he did not know he had it then this was mis sold.
Put the claim in, if they reject then take it to FOS, let DFS know that you will do this.

Put prof in that you were made redundant (copies) and they cannot string this out by asking you in 8 weeks to provide the proof, good luck and let me now what they say.
