I tunes on the same lap top

Please help me out with my limitations on lap tops.I have a ACER lap top with I E 7 in it.I have a I POD NANO loaded on it without any problems.I brought a NANO for my wife and then the fun starts.It seems to me that i cannot have 2 I TUNES accounts on the same lap top.Is this correct ?, if not can anybody help me please

Surely you can use two accounts on one version of iTunes?

I can log into mine and update my iPod Classic. Then I log out and can log onto my parents' account and update their iPod Nano and Shuffle.

Their account got a big confused when I updated it with a Shuffle but it eventually got going and there's been no further problems.

Your laptop has 2 users, but you're both logging in under the same account. You need to add your wife as another User in Windows (Control Panel). When you this, she'll have her own User folder (My Documents etc) and other settings AND her own iTunes. Her Library will be blank, but you can copy from yours, then sync her iPod with it.
