I have used a product called Akileine cream which is a nice smelling cream applied daily, and it really works to reduce/remove odours. Always best to start off with a new pair of shoes to get the best benefit. I purchase mine from https://www.drfoot.co.uk and can highly recommend them as speedy and efficient. they carry a wide range of products for minging feet.0

I noticed that my local Bodycare has Odor Eaters (sp?) socks on BOGOF atm - (£4.99 for packs of 3). The blurb on the packets claims that they are something like 99.9% effective against foot odour and athlete's foot for 50 washes. Has anybody here tried them, and if so, are they really as good as they claim? I was thinking of buying some for my hubby, who isn't particularly prone to athlete's foot, but does have unusually smelly feet. However, since they're more expensive than ordinary socks, I don't want to buy them if they don't work.0

If your shoes have a problem with becoming smelly due to the problem itself, whilst tackling the actual feet you could also try using insoles. When you next buy a pair of shoes maybe get them very slightly too big. Then use insoles in them. Don't buy the insoles from a shoe shop as they're usually expensive. Local cheap shops often sell them for around a £1. Well where I live there's a store that sells them at £1 anyway. Worth looking around.
Then you could change the insoles from time to time. Not sure if you could wash the insoles, might work.
It might help because if your putting your feet into smelly shoes, your feet will then also smell.0 -
There are some suggestions here that are moneysaving and may amuse others.
I like this one particularlyA friend of mine was in the Marines. When I told him I’d had athlete’s foot for almost a year, he told me about a remedy he learned in the service:
urinate on your feet while in the shower.I was so desperate I tried this and the athlete’s foot was gone within two weeks. But there are suggestions as well.Looking for more support for the zinc, Chlorophyll suggestions in the above link I came upon this it's possible foot odour and body odour have similar causes.

Guilty
I suffer in the summer.
Body shop used to do a foot spray that was tea tree and you could spray on feet and shoes etc.
They do a peppermint one now, not as good but smells nice
I suppose you could make your own tea tree spray, wonders what you would put in it *apart from the obviousLife is about give and take, if you can't give why should you take?0
