Anyone got fxscfgwz.dll file???

Options
Hi all,
I'm trying to set up the fax on Windows XP but since I only have a laptop with partitioned recovery (so I'm told) I don't have the Windows XP Home CD Rom. When I try and set up the fax it just keeps asking for this .dll file and when I contacted the support people they could only suggest reinstalling everything which I really don't want to do. I would be eternally grateful if anyone could send me this file or direct me to a legit website where I can download it for free.
Many Thanks

Was the first result from a google search.

  • Thanks Superscaper - I found that too but wasn't sure if it was ok - seemed like I might get tied in to subscriptions for scans etc or am I being too cautious??

  • Ok next problem - downloaded it ok and now it says it can't copy file from the destination - followed the instructions for this error as quoted on the microsoft website and it still won't copy. Why is nothing straightforward with bloomin computers!!!!
    Anyone had this problem??

    Which instructions are you using?

Open the Windows system32 folder by clicking Start - Run - type %windir%/system32 - OK and copy it there.
