I have a buyer on a £50 item, she has no feedback, no bids on anything else, never sold anything.. and had her account since sep 2010 ... I have recently had a 'dispute' over a top that didn't arrive I didn't open a dispute and haven't been refunded yet, just mentioned a few times it hadn't arrived yet (was bought on 4th dec) am I being over suspicious?

I would probably leave bid personally as I am happy with my settings and a £50 item will be going fully tracked anyway, so no chance of a dodgy INRI’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. My worry is that they say 'item not as described' and send a bag of rubbish back or something like that. Happened to a friend recently! Most of my items are around £1-£10 and its the most expensive one they have bid on

I'm assuming your concern is that the seller you have bought from and the new buyer are one and the same...
It's unlikely that a seller would go to the trouble of creating a new account, and buy something from their own unhappy buyer, every time a buyer didn't receive something.
It's possible - but extremely unlikely. Is there a close connection between names addresses? Any other similarity?"The secret of life is honesty and fair dealing.

This old account was created in 2010 and has no activity on it whatsoever!
Maybe am being overcautious but wonder why in 2 years mine is the first she has decided to bid on..

I just had a bidder that had 1 feedback and bought a £150 item. I photographed all important bits ( serial numbers etc) of item before sending, sent special delivery and all has gone perfectly fine. Just cover yourself and hopefully it should be fine.
She could well have opened ebay account just to bid on one certain item and never won it . Just also send to paypal address and should be fine.0 -
Its only a duvet cover, worth £90 so nothing with defining detail (ie serial numbers)
mine is the cheapest on there..
I have a couple of days to decide so if I do leave it.. I will be back and let you know the outcome lol! hopefully it will be a smiley and not a

I bet they don't win anyway. Someone more experienced may well outbid them at the last moment. I look at it that they are helping bump up the price .0

Sounds like WAY too much hassle for the sake of revenge. They'd have to pay for fully tracked return postage!Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')
Would've = Would HAVE (not 'of')
No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)0 -
timely reminder about selling on your buying account.0

They haven't just created an account, if it was just a newbie I would be less suspicious! Its only because they have had the account 2 years and my item is the only activity! There are some right weirdo's on there!
Berislav, I am tempted.. I do have 10 watchers so can always leave it right to the last min..
