HSBC offer a range of insurance products. It is impossible for us to say what it could be. She would need to ask HSBC.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). The comments I make are just my opinion and are for discussion purposes only. They are not financial advice and you should not treat them as such. If you feel an area discussed may be relevant to you, then please seek advice from an Independent Financial Adviser local to you.0 -
If it states insurance premium on her statement it should then have a figure stating how much per £100 i.e @69p per £100. This would be HSBC PPI. If you wanna scan in that part of statement and PM across, can let you know0

Why has it taken the OP's sister so long to realise she is paying PPI?
Has she only just learned to read?0 -

Why has everyone that bought PPI been mis sold it all of a sudden?
Surely not every one has been paying for protection with out knowing or agreeing it was what they wanted rather than thrust upon them by the banks.Everything has its beauty but not everyone sees it.0
