Another couple of busy days done :)

At the weekend, I sorted out our car insurance. We'd had a renewal quote for £439 for our little car   so we researched online and managed to get it for £253 :j :j which is much better! I'm pleased with that as I think we'll still manage to come under budget this month if we're extra careful, even with this additional payment :)

I tried to make naan breads for the first time this evening, to have with our leftover curry. However, they turned out much more like pitta breads! Not sure how? But DH still managed to eat 4 :D they didn't taste too bad, just nothing like the texture of a naan bread. Strange!

However, because I attempted to make them instead of buying them, today has been another NSD :D

Great work on the quote - will you be able to OP the difference? I tend to budget pessimistically, based on the cost from the previous year. The upside is a nice place to be :D

I think it'll go into savings for America :) but yes, it's good! Only took me about 15 minutes too, so didn't take too long :) Love it when that happens!

Our (first) time took nearly 3 hours :rotfl:

It was worth it though, £3k down to £650.

Hehe - it's a wee Suzuki - apparently comparison websites sort by most expensive first to make you feel like you're getting a bargain :)

Good to hear you're making new breads too SF - that was one of your targets wasnt it? They must have been nice even if they weren't how you thought they'd be :)

We have! We've booked and paid the deposit, so just need to save the rest :) we've got about half saved already, so we're doing well!

I feel :(:(:( today. Overnight I have developed the most awful cold, accompanied by a hacking cough and my body is very ache-y and shivery. Today has been long.

It's been a NSD, and I'm off to bed.

    :(:(:(
