Really sorry to hear how tough things are for you. For different reasons Mrs K and I found being new parents really, really difficult but things WILL get better, there will become a time when he sleeps and becoming a parent will become normality (not in a bad way, either), I promise.
It may be worth seeing your GP about your anxiety, don't let it build to become a problem you struggle to cope with.
You are still in my thoughts and prayers, SF.2018 totals:

Oh sweetheart, that sounds awful. Sage advice from Alex there; an awful lot of services are meant to help new mums, please take advantage of them. Do you have an NCT branch locally? They often have troubleshooters who can listen ...2023: the year I get to buy a car0

Thanks everyone; going to take a bit of a step back and re-assess things. I think I'm putting far too much pressure on myself and the constant worry/stress about DS along with lack of sleep is taking it's toll.
I'll plod along quietly, no doubt. Done a £100 OP today to prove I've still got it!Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.

Sounds like a good idea - you can get yourself into a positive feedback loop then, and you and DS both need it.
Please ignore OPs for now!2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
On the tv and in the magazines, having a baby is a breeze, within a few days you have a magical aura about you and the baby is the most behaved baby who sleeps through the night and never cries, in reality its not. Do it your way, whatever feels right by you. Hopefully soon things will start calming down and falling into place for you and the little one. x:j Debtfree and and staying that way.:j3-6 month emergency fund, No.61 £140.000

I feel much better today; DS slept better last night and I've had some friends visit this afternoon which has been a real morale booster. They bought cake with them though, which was always going to make things better
DS was weighed again today and continues to put on weight which I'm relieved about. He's changing so much and has begun to make lots of little noises which is incredibly cute. He makes me smile; his little personality is definitely starting to show. He's going to be one cheeky chappy, that's for sure
In money news, transferred £58.65 into savings today, though it hasn't been a NSD here. Got a picture for in the bathroom and a CD player to have upstairs as we've wanted one for ages.
