What is the first GTA game for Play Station?

Can someone please advise me what the first Grand Theft Auto for playstation is, as I have bought the London edition and it needs GTA 1 in order to work :rolleyes:

The first GTA was just called Grand Theft Auto, more recent re-releases had both GTA1 and London together in a pack. Don't get it mixed up with GTA2 (also on PS1) as it won't work with that one.

The London one I bought has a sticker on the front saying "warning, requires original GTA game disk to operate"...we will try it without GTA 1, and see how it goes...thanks

Lets remember here that GTA was a PC game first, all hail PC. The most successful PS2 game of all time, came from an idea for the PC.

GTA should be available from Game (if you can find one with stocks) or Gamestation, pre ownedd for about £20
