Could I have some recommendations for a wireless usb adapter which is compatible with Windows 8
When looking at manufacturers websites easy to find compatible with Windows 7 but not for 8
Don't want to spend more than about £20

An adapter compatable with Windows 7 will work just fine. How come your Windows 8 machine is not wireless already?
ah I see what you are getting, I'd suggest getting an internal card rather than a wireless adapter.
Something like.

FWIW Dell 660 PCs come with built in wireless.
