Hi all,
very glad as went to SponsorPay and had the Ontree and Aquacard offer credit instantly - for the former you only need to give your email addr and set up a password and that's it and I only clicked on the Aqua offer and clicked through to the application just in case and there I was earning more SB than in a long time:P
PS. ALso won a search by searching for "ugh"0 -
Windows 8 is actually very good IMO, people who say they don't like it probably have never tried it, i agree it's not an improvement over win 7, but coming up from vista, major major improvement.
It's actually a bit, very little bit faster than win 7 to boot up.
It depends on what you want to do. If you have other computers I always think it's easier to network them if they have the same os. Also, I can be sure that older versions of my software will run on Windows 7. It's just personal preference and being too idle to learn a new version of Windows.:)Don't mess with pensioners. :cool:0 -

To be honest there isn't too steep a learning curve going from 7 to 8 - initially it looks different, but once you play with it it is very similar. To me, it's 7 redesigned for touchscreens - it's good on tablets, but not any improvement over 7 on a non-touchscreen pc/laptop.0 -
hmm played 6 games and they haven't credited, need to get to my real job shortly 7/900

Not a problem, it's just a pimped up version of windows 7 with a metro UI (which can be disabled) once i got used to that it was just the same.
Any software that works on win 7 will almost certainly work on win 8.0 -

paulshorse, was it you that did the Special K offer recently? I did it this morning but wasn't credited, so spent too much time scraping SBs together from SBTV and tasks and then missed out on yesterday's target by just 1 SB. Grrrr. (I'm in Hong Kong, 8 hours ahead of the UK, so my SB day runs from 4pm-4pm.)0
