  • And speaking of SBTV...

Does anyone else's SBTV not show any channels properly? If I choose one of the tabs like "EarthReport", it shows that URL briefly in the address bar, then goes back to "http://globalvideo.swagbucks.com/entertainment" and shows the same old sh** again.

Same for me with the SBTV in the main browser. But if you use the SBTV button off the toolbar, I think it works a bit better.

I'm experimenting with a progam called Sandboxie which enables you to download toolbars and programs without actually affecting your main computer drive. It has worked OK with a couple of toolbars I downloaded from the walls (you just delete the sandbox and everything that was downloaded - toolbar, adware etc - gets deleted too). I've not had chance to download any games or software with it yet, though.

I've had a play with sandboxie today - no surveys so was struggling to reach the target. While sandboxie seems to have worked well, not one of the download offers have credited :-(

Fortunately, I remembered I'd been saving up the profiles for the new email-based surveys for just such a slow day, so I reached target doing those instead.

I heard pamela anderson is in it this year - how desperate much she be! Sounds like another SBTV chum to me

Booted out in the first episode. I think her boob almost popping out in the skate off put a lot of people off!

I can't access any of those. Can you please give me a URL for one of those vids for me to try?

There's a link when you access SBTV through the tool bar, or search SBTV for Zoo TV.

I really don't give a cr** what Demi Moore and Ashton Kucher are up to, if I could actually watch something that I was interested in, SBTV wouldn't be such a boring grind.

    Rant over... :rotfl:

If you use the search box on the SBTV home page (the box that is just below your user name), you can search for things like 'zoo tv' or 'gardening' etc. You can then click on one of the videos and it should take you to the channel. You can then either put that channel in your bookmarks or put it on your favourites toolbar. When you click on some of the results, it will say that the video is not available in your country, but I have found quite a lot of channels this way. I have posted a few before, so when I get a minute I will look them out again and post a list of the ones I found

That's strange - sandboxie has worked a few times for me and I believe that someone else who posts on here uses it quite a lot too. I've not actually tried downloading software or games yet, though - just toolbars

Edit - just thought - did you install and use the software? Most of the download offers say you have to do that in order to get credited

Thanks miwa. I think I would have given up very early on if it hadn't been for everyone on here. It's true that Swagbucks are going to maximise their profits, but as for any business, if you get a bad reputation and lose customers, then profits fall.

You'll be pleased to know that my girds are already loined ready for the casino tasks :rotfl:
