  • This might be a bit of a stupid question but do people declare themselves self-employed because they are earning on Swagbucks? It's not something I'd even considered that I might have to do before today.

I am already self employed (small online business) and am planning on declaring my survey earnings next tax yr, just gotta work out how to do it lol

It's not a stupid question. I really want to know the answer too. I think you don't need to worry as long as it doesn't push you over a tax bracket.

MSE, please make a guide about online/additional earning and tax.

I pretty sure you are supposed to declare it even if you dont need to pay tax on it :)

Phew, made target for the 7th day in a row. Time for bed!

(Worried by this talk of declaring survey income for tax - isn't the end of the tax year soon? I have no idea how much I've earned April - April)

It's in the box that says "swag code alert" on the front page just under the search bar. It changes to different pages, but you want to click on the first "6SB" one. The code is in the text below the "All points bulletin".

On the home page there are moving pictures and under each there are tabs. Click on the one that says 6SB and copy the code under that pic 'SWAG CODE ALERT' before 10:30.
