Can someone confirm whether entering personal details such as address into surveys and stuff is safe? As I'm not really sure!

Surveys from the genuine survey companies do not normally want your name and address. If you sign up to a survey company, such as Toluna or New Vista, then they do require your personal details when you actually sign up. Most surveys on here will ask for your date of birth and/or age (as a lot of surveys are aimed at specific age groups). Most will want to know what county or TV region you live in and occasionally some will want your Post Code - this is all for demographic purposes. Without this information, they could not get a cross-section of the population for their surveys. I believe that these survey companies are reputable.

The so-called surveys on the offer walls though are entirely different (the ones which say complete a survey to win a car or a holiday). These are not really surveys as such. All they are doing is trying to get you to sign up to offers, hence the reason for having to go through pages and pages of them. Most of these will want your name, address and date of birth, email address and often phone number. This is so that they can send you offers in the post, email, text and phone. I do not do these normally. Whilst a lot of those companies are 'reputable' (and I say that loosely) such as OffersX, I am very wary of doing them. Under no circumstances will I give out any financial information to them - that is just asking for trouble.

I am happier buying things through the walls from, say BodyShop, as you are directed to their website and the information you key in is (I believe) directly into their server. I do not download toolbars from the walls unless I use sandboxie, as they are packaged in adware which is often very difficult to get rid of. I would never download software or games from the walls unless I did it sandboxed, as again they are wrapped in adware (I've still got to experiment with this). Often you will see an offer which will say 'swagbucks will be credited after downloading and playing the game' (the reason for this is that you have to install the game and at the same time you install the adware)

    Hope the above helps :)

I thought it was to do with American Football as there's a game on New Year's Day with a flower in its name, but when I tried it on Swagbucks I got the message that the code isn't available in my country.

    I could've been wrong, though.

I think I got it, but I got 'this code is not available in your country.

I think it's right, as the other one I tried said 'invalid code'...
  • I've got the answer but the code isn't available in the UK :(

    UK codes have finished now

The US codes are 3 behind us I think so they have a couple more codes to get that are not applicable to us
